- Choose a mechanic/shop for tasks like oil changes and air filter changes. A reputable shop that you trust will keep your car running smoothly and check fluids, tire air pressure, etc.
- Make sure you get an inspection. Besides frequent oil changes and the upkeep of your air filters, you need to have a thorough inspection based on your engine mileage. This inspection includes checking the engine, cooling, transmission, suspension components, and brakes.
